I am still working on my guest room project and I have found another set of table and chairs from my favorite hotel liquidator that needed to be changed to fit the room.
The set used to look like this.
The colors were way off for my project so I decided to paint it like my side table and the headboard. Since the seat upholstery are still good, customized washable slip-on covers are the way to go.
I am not a seamstress so this is when my mom comes in. She helped me sew these beautiful covers. Thank you mom!
I am so lucky to also find the cloth that was used here from the consignment store for a bargain. It's linen and for 6 yards, it was only $18. Thumbs up for the timing!
This is how the finished product looks like. This is now a functional area that my guests could enjoy. I am so happy!
